Did your time with the Scabbard & Blade Honor Society in ROTC shape your character in a memorable way? Did you make friends or mentors for life, discover your career path, or learn important insights into your personality? And, what about your time in service to our nation?
All Scabbard and Blade alumni have a story, and a new S&B Memories book publishing project from the Society seeks to capture them for future generations.
Recently, the S&B Alumni Association partnered with Dallas, TX-based Publishing Concepts, for the highly successful Oral History Project, but we don't want to stop there. So, now we want to help members of our alumni association write their memoirs for family, friends, and others.
Maybe you have already started or finished writing about your experiences in our nation’s military. If so, we can help you publish your work if you have not already done so. Maybe you have not started writing, but would like to, and we can help you begin and complete your work. To start, we will provide you with the book Writing 101 for Warriors, then help as you record your experiences.
To get started contact us through this web site for more information about our Alumni Memoirs Project. Also, check out the Alumni Memoirs Example tab.
Check back soon for updates. Five Stars to all of our alumni!
An example of an alumnus of Scabbard & Blade is that of Ed Glover, an infantry veteran who was wounded and became a prisoner during WWII. Eventually, he became the National Executive Officer of our Society. You can find his published biography on Amazon, or donate $35 and receive both books shown on this page.
